The 14th edition of Maredamare renews its commitment to an increasingly expansive vocation thanks to the participation of the best brands of swimwear, kaftans, accessories, home clothes and underwear in an exhibition area of ​​11,000 square meters. An average of 300 mid- or high-end brands exhibit at Marchamare, making it the only Italian showcase in the beachwear and underwear sector.

Four fashion firms from Gran Canaria, Pedro Palmas, Chela Clo, Elena Morales and Como la Trucha al Trucho, participate in this internationally prestigious fair, under the umbrella of the Cálida Fashion program of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria. Berlin Fashion Week is an event that takes place this week and is attended by buyers from all over Europe, an exceptional opportunity to promote the Gran Canaria textile sector and show the island's fashion boom. They have also been part of a meeting with the Berlin designer community, where they have learned the keys to the commercialization of swimwear in Germany from the hand of entrepreneurs from the German textile sector. During the trade mission, they also participated in various forums related mainly to technology in the fashion and sustainability sector. Some proposals that on this occasion the total of the 6 brands and designers that have participated in this activation, developed within the official program of Copenhagen Fashion Week, have been in charge of making known through an immersive presentation, which began with a set of models and dancers wearing different designs from their respective "swimwear" proposals for the upcoming Spring/Summer 2024 season.
