The 14th edition of Maredamare renews its commitment to an increasingly expansive vocation thanks to the participation of the best brands of swimwear, kaftans, accessories, home clothes and underwear in an exhibition area of ​​11,000 square meters. An average of 300 mid- or high-end brands exhibit at Marchamare, making it the only Italian showcase in the beachwear and underwear sector.

In addition, Maredamare has obtained the International Fair qualification, confirming its solidity as the only Italian fair dedicated to the beachwear, accessories and underwear sector and today it represents the meeting point between the best clients and the most qualified companies: from the best known brands to the newest.

The Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services and Navigation of Gran Canaria, has organized a trade mission within the framework of Berlin Fashion Week, the most important initiative of the textile sector in Germany and a meeting point for the swimwear industry of Europe. Four fashion firms from Gran Canaria, Pedro Palmas, Chela Clo, Elena Morales and Como la Trucha al Trucho, participate in this internationally prestigious fair, under the umbrella of the Cálida Fashion program of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria. Berlin Fashion Week is an event that takes place this week and is attended by buyers from all over Europe, an exceptional opportunity to promote the Gran Canaria textile sector and show the island's fashion boom. During the commercial mission, the representatives of the four Gran Canaria fashion firms participated in a meeting at the Spanish Economic and Commercial Office in Berlin, where they were received by the economic and commercial counselor, Mario Buisán García. They have also been part of a meeting with the Berlin designer community, where they have learned the keys to the commercialization of swimwear in Germany from the hand of entrepreneurs from the German textile sector. During the trade mission, they also participated in various forums related mainly to technology in the fashion and sustainability sector. This is the fourth face-to-face trade mission carried out by the Chamber of Gran Canaria after the pandemic, within the framework of the International Promotion Plan Program (PIP), which is co-financed by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, with the clear objective of continuing to support the internationalization of companies,
